RT @meetupvictoria Hey #yyj remember to turn your clock ahead this weekend March 14 #dst begins at 2 a.m. on the second Sunday of March 34 mins ago

Tyler is taking swimming lessons. He had a major breakthrough in his last lesson…. he put his entire face in the water when he did his starfish float! Way to go, dude! I know how hard it has been for you to be able to do this! We are very proud of you! These images were also shot in manual mode. Practice, practice, practice!

Today we went to the wharf in Mill Bay where Derek and Scott keep the prawn boat. While they went out checking the traps, the kids and I went to the beach. I have been trying to shoot more in manual mode and, to my surprise, I am enjoying it more than I ever thought I would. These are a few shots from today. I can hardly wait until I get my new camera.

They call him BIG T.
I would like to tell you that he was he was warming-up….. doing a stretching routine before the big game…… just like the pros in the major league…. but I can’t.
No, he was just being a typical 4 year old boy. One who would rather be reaching for his toes and seeing if his glove would double as a hat than watching to see where the opposing team was going to hit the ball next!
….. gotta love it!
