May 28, 2007where would you ever find a dress up box so full of clothes, wigs and other accessories, so that you could completely change your looks in less than 2 minutes?
only at grandma’s house, of course!
the kids have so much fun dressing up in these clothes. and grandma has tons of them. there is even this old army gas mask that i didn’t get a picture of but it makes me laugh everytime they put it on.
i’m going to be an auntie again!

congratulations to my sil, shonna and her hubby chris on their wonderful news! they’re having a baby! the newest addition to our family is due to arrive in november.
we’re so thrilled for you both!
and you all know what that means for me?….. maternity and baby photo ops!! i can hardly wait!

happy 10th birthday!
May 22, 2007today, my emily turned 10! i can’t believe that ten years has gone by so quickly. i can still remember so clearly, all the events that happened on this day ten years ago (don’t worry, i won’t bore you with all the details!) what i remember the most is wanting to have a daughter oh so badly, that i convinced myself that we were having a boy. when derek told me we had a girl, i asked him three time to check and make sure!
i had my baby girl! my princess! my everlasting sunshine that brightens my life! i am so lucky to have her in my life! she is everything i ever imagined she’d be! so beautiful. so intelligent. so talented. so full of life and laughter. so kind hearted and so willing to give people a second chance when maybe she shouldn’t. she has a heart of gold and i love that part of her.
