while ty was just hangin’ out in our bedroom, i thought i would play a bit with my off camera flash. i love trying out new photography techniques. and this one has so many possibilities! i can’t wait to experiment some more. and the best part was that i had a willing model this time….. well, for a few images anyway!

we woke up this morning to another 6 inches of the beautiful white stuff! the kids are so disappointed that it has melted away already! not me though, i am happy to see it gone. don’t get me wrong, i do love the snow, just NOT in april! i am ready for spring, anytime now!

partnership is all about being able to work together. it’s all about good negotiation. it’s about each party getting what they want and being happy with the outcome.
i present to you a series of images (in the order they were taken) that are the result of some ‘good negotiations’ with one of my most favorite models. i asked if i could take 5 pictures. he said ok BUT only if he got to choose the poses. hey, i wasn’t going to argue. i needed a model to test out some new equipment and he was willing! i’d also like to share that these were edited in lightroom (my first time) and then taken into photoshop for sharpening and resized for web! i’ve got lots to learn but i think i’m really going to love lightroom!

sometimes i worry when he’s SO quiet. it makes me wonder what he’s really up to….. like probably getting into something that he shouldn’t. but not this time.
