you get to spend it with one of your best friends!
the kids and i ran some errands today in victoria. when we finished up, we headed over to spend the rest of the afternoon with michelle and the boys.
michelle is one of my oldest and dearest friends. she is one of the first friends that i made when i first moved here from the east coast. and i love her like a sister!
the kids had a great time and it was so nice for us to sit and talk. and let me tell you, when michelle and i talk, we talk about anything and everything from getting facials, getting botox, house building, pokemon cards, upcoming birthday parties, what to have for lunch, and much much more! i also stopped along the way to pick up some “goodies”. i never show up without some “goodies” and today i brought along some chocolate chip cookies! yummm! i think know i ate way more than my share! they were so delicious!
which leads me to state here, publicly on my blog, that i am now officially eating healthier! i put on a few extra pounds while my mom was visiting and now it’s time to shed them! and i want you to hold me accountable. OK? ok!
thanks for a great afternoon mitch! we need to do it more often!

love these kids!

Heather M: Ahhh...It is great to see the progression! :) YOu must be SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited! I can't wait to see pics of the finished product!
Stacy: love the pics K! it's so exciting and i'm so excited for you. but i have a question for you. here in the states when they put outside walls up, they go up and down but i noticed your walls are put in on an angle. do you happen to know why they do that? is it better construction that way? so curious. we will be building a house on our maine lot in 3-4 yrs so i'm dying to know. have a great weekend!!!
jenny: Yay. Yay. Yay!! This is so exciting! I can't wait to see more pics of this project. So happy for you all, Paton Family! :D P.S. No mints on my pillow are required when I visit. haha
Kelly: Kathy how exciting! I LOVE your lot--just beautiful.
