Heather M: Ahhh...It is great to see the progression! :) YOu must be SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited! I can't wait to see pics of the finished product!

Stacy: love the pics K! it's so exciting and i'm so excited for you. but i have a question for you. here in the states when they put outside walls up, they go up and down but i noticed your walls are put in on an angle. do you happen to know why they do that? is it better construction that way? so curious. we will be building a house on our maine lot in 3-4 yrs so i'm dying to know. have a great weekend!!!

jenny: Yay. Yay. Yay!! This is so exciting! I can't wait to see more pics of this project. So happy for you all, Paton Family! :D P.S. No mints on my pillow are required when I visit. haha

Kelly: Kathy how exciting! I LOVE your lot--just beautiful.

i am sure that there are many of my blog readers who will agree that guitar hero is fun! tons of fun!

“say WHAT?!!”…. you may ask.

yup! you heard me right! TONS more fun than guitar hero!

Moni: Love these Rockband photos! My hubby and I love to play! :)

it’s a great day when….

you get to spend it with one of your best friends!

the kids and i ran some errands today in victoria. when we finished up, we headed over to spend the rest of the afternoon with michelle and the boys.

michelle is one of my oldest and dearest friends. she is one of the first friends that i made when i first moved here from the east coast. and i love her like a sister!

the kids had a great time and it was so nice for us to sit and talk. and let me tell you, when michelle and i talk, we talk about anything and everything from getting facials, getting botox, house building, pokemon cards, upcoming birthday parties, what to have for lunch, and much much more! i also stopped along the way to pick up some “goodies”. i never show up without some “goodies” and today i brought along some chocolate chip cookies! yummm! i think know i ate way more than my share! they were so delicious!

which leads me to state here, publicly on my blog, that i am now officially eating healthier! i put on a few extra pounds while my mom was visiting and now it’s time to shed them! and i want you to hold me accountable. OK? ok!

thanks for a great afternoon mitch! we need to do it more often!

love these kids!

Shonna: Really we should make it a family challenge! These last few baby pounds (plus a few)aren't going anywhere, so it's time to get serious!

michelle: What a wonderful read! Your comments on the blog are so sweet!! All I can say is a big Ditto!!! Hey I've marked the blog as one of my favorites again ( my comp. crashed a couple of weeks ago) . See you soon! mich xo

Stacy: ok - i'll watch you if you watch me. fairs fair!!

my “new” model

but i think he really needs to work on the facial expressions, don’t you think? this is the look i got when i told him to “hold it right there”. i’m NOT complaining. oh no! he’s letting me take his picture so it’s ALL good. no matter what the facial expression is!

i tried a few different things on this and added some texture. not my usual post processing but i think it’s kinda cool.

have a great weekend!

Kristin: That face totally reminds me of the classic Calvin & Hobbes. Calvin always made such goofy faces just like that. So expressive. :)

Shannon: Omg...I love him.

Ganell Kopp: love the effects you did on this. How funny! Looks like a face my son would give me.
