Vanessa: Hi! I just sent you a little message reply over on 2peas! I love your work, you have such an easy going natural style. Looking forward to hearing back from you again:) Vanessa

remember last saturday….. when the wonderfully talented photographer, shannon stevenson came over from vancouver to help shoot andrea and dan’s wedding with me?

well, on sunday, before we dropped her off at the ferry, we headed to this really awesome location in victoria and we had the most fantastic family session with her! she is so awesome and ubberly artistic and i am so lucky to be able to call her my friend…. even though she wouldn’t let me have just a teensie-weensie small peek on her camera last weekend and totally made me wait until today for a sneak peek!…. i still love her!

you can see our sneak peek on her site at la storia studios.  and be sure to leave her some comments too! she loves getting some blog love!

thanks a million shannon!

last night, we gathered at derek’s mom’s house to celebrate uncle bruce and uncle gregg’s (belated) birthdays! it was great to have the family together again especially because i got to spend some time with my two neices! these babies are so cute!! and i can’t believe how fast they are growing!

malaiya and mommy!

miss sadie!

emily wrote a poem for uncle bruce!

“somethings about bruce”

he likes to golf, he likes to boat, when he wins he doesn’t gloat. he likes to skip, he likes to cheer, he really likes an ice cold beer. he uses oil, he uses gas, he even has a big huge… TRUCK!!

LOL!! you know we ALL cracked up when he read that out loud! too funny!

family time…. it’s a good thing!

Shonna: Wow, Kath, loving these shots. Would LOVE to have copies. Can I see Sadie in colour too? So enjoyed seeing you guys on Saturday. Tell Em that she did a great job with Sadie!

Susan: Wow, I love those shots!

Shannon: Fun shots... The little ones are too cute. Tell Emily her poem was so sweet and HILARIOUS!! I can just picture her reading it to everyone...tee hee. ox
