i am currently full and not taking any more family sessions for the month of may. i do however, still have a few spots open if you would like to book a RAD GRAD session during the week.  contact me to book your RAD GRAD session soon.

i am still booking sessions june and july. august is still wide open but my september is almost full. if you’re thinking of booking a family session for the fall, i would recommend that you book with me soon to avoid disappointment.

last weekend, i met up with lindsey & donnie to do a just because session. what is a just because session, you ask? well, it’s having a photo session for no special reason. it’s having one just because! why wait for a special occassion to have a photo session with a loved one? 

we started out in the park and then headed to the water for some casual shots. aren’t they a cute couple!!!

i absolutely loved the way the clouds looked in the sky that afternoon. it had been raining on and off that weekend so it made for some very cool looking clouds.  i decided to do something a little different with the post processing.  i’m loving the way this shot turned out.

after a quick wardrobe change , we headed downtown to do a few urban grungy shots.  these two were so awesome! it was starting to get cold out since the sun was going down. but it didn’t bother them at all. just check out the hottness!

gotta love the yummy backlighting at sunset for this last shot! i love the connection captured here!

after myworkshop was finished on saturday, i made my way to see my good friends, beth and allen. i was super excited to see them for several reasons. first, it had been awhile since we had a visit with each other. (read: much too long). second, i hadn’t seen their new beautiful new home yet. and third, and most importantly, i wanted to meet their new baby!

he is so precious! i just loved being able to hold a newborn again. they smell SO GOOD!!!

beth and i go back a looonnnnng ways. back to our early university days when we both still lived in nova scotia. i loved watching her being a mommy! it melted my heart. and i am so happy for her and allen!

side note::  i just want to add that the gps feature on the iphone is worth it’s weight in GOLD! i would never have been able to navigate my way around vancouver this past weekend if i hadn’t had that. thank you iphone!
