one of my most favorite things that i do for my clients is making their slideshow after proofing their session. i love the entire process. editing the images, choosing the quote, choosing the song and most especially sending an email to them to let them know that their slideshow is ready. all they have to do is just click on the link and enjoy! and the icing -on-the-cake is that it’s also one of their most favorite things too.

we shot this family session just over two weeks ago and i know they’re all waiting patiently to see the slideshow. well, the wait is over. enjoy your slideshow!

Brandy: Wow those pics are amazing and captured everything!

Laurie Terry: What a fun variety of images of that cute family. Your work is just amazing!

Jennifer: What program do you use to make these slideshows? I'm wanting to add a similar feature to my website, too. Thanks!

eight is gr8!!

June 25, 2009

LOTS of gr8 things happening today.

first off, it’s tyler’s 8th birthday! i can’t believe my baby is eight already! i’m not going to embarrass him by getting all mushy and gushy (even though i’d really love to tell you all about the day he was born and how happy we were to welcome him into our family and how he completed our family in such a perfect way and how cute he was, all 10 pounds of him…… i could go on-and-on….. but i won’t.)

it’s also the last day of school! wooohoooo! all day, we’ve been singing  “school’s out for summer….. school’s out for ever…“.

and , one of the best things about today, well for me at least, is that tyler agreed to a photoshoot with me today! yes! yes! YES!!!! i can’t tell you how happy this made me and how thrilled i am with the outcome. but because it’s so late and i have to be up in 6 hours, i’m only going to share a couple with you right now.

happy birthday BIG T!   we love you and wish you the bestest birthday ever!

after school today, we took tyler to the new bike park not far from our home. he’s been begging us to take him for weeks now! and after today, i have a feeling he’ll be begging us even more now! he had a blast -  a bit intimidated at first – some of the bumps are pretty steep.  he conquered the beginner trails with ease in no time. he even braved part of an intermediate trail too. i’m so glad i took my camera. such fun memories!

Shannon Stevenson: A.W.E.S.O.M.E!! Way to go T!!

Danielle Neil: What great photos of the day. Looks like he had tons of fun!!

Jane Eaton Hamilton: Wow, what fun!

michele: What a great group of images! Love these!

about 2 months ago, i donated a family session with kp photography for the silent auction at the unforgettable gala. i felt very fortunate to have been asked to be a part of such a spectacular event. i wasn’t able to attend the gala myself but i’ve heard  many accounts that it was most definitely an unforgettable evening!

about a week after the gala, i received a phone call from the lucky winner of the gift certificate from that silent auction. she told me that she had bid on the family session as a mother’s day gift to herself. what a great gift for mother’s day! she wanted to be able to capture her family just one more time,  before the kids are completely grown up and moving on.

we met on saturday evening at their beautiful home in victoria and did their family session in the garden. it was a beautiful evening.
