iphone collage 2010 | personal

rather than doing a “year end review” for my last post of 2010, i thought it would be a fun to catch up on my iphone collages for the year. it’s been a few months since i’ve posted one. and it’s always fun to look back and see what we were doing through my iphone picture journal. my most favorite iphone app is shake it. i LOVE this app and use it for 90% of the pictures i take with my iphone. get it!  i know you’ll love it too!

i’ve got a another fun project that i’m working on with the iphone pictures.  i’ll be sure to share it with you when i’m finished.

i would also like to take this oppurtunity to wish everyone a happy and healthy new year!

i’m excited for what 2011 holds and can’t wait to meet and work with some amazing people along the way!

what people are saying about the course:

I was impressed by the time and obvious effort that Kathy took to prepare an excellent workshop with lots of tips of the trade. I really enjoyed the photos and the time she took to explain the content of each photo…its merits AND its faults…so that I can improve with my own photo taking. She even handed out assignments…ideas for us to try with the concepts of photo taking that she discussed. I especially appreciated the resources and references she offered at the back of the booklet that she prepared. Great Job, Kathy , and a very enjoyable, relaxing, but extremely educational morning. Her passion for photography showed up in the content of the workshop.” DL

Kathy’s passion is photography, and it shows in her enthusiasm, her extensive knowledge and her well prepared teaching material.  I learned so much from her session, and find that I want to learn more. Thanks again Kathy!” JG

where are you christmas?

well, i think the title for this post should more appropriately read: where are you kathy?

i have been seriously neglecting this poor ol’ blog. november and the first half of december have been a total blur! i was so busy wrapping up all my wedding client albums, finishing up the fall  family portrait sessions, shooting portrait sessions at a couple of local day care centers, teaching my very first photography course (i’ll be announcing another one soon!),  speaking to 120 high school students about photography, ordering and delivering albums and prints to all my wonderful clients and taking part in the victoria help portrait. not to mention getting ready for christmas and trying to spend some  quality time with my family.  it’s always such a crazy busy time of year but  it’s all good!  i wouldn’t want to have it any other way.

i’ve got a ton of things to blog about but today we’re getting ready for our annual christmas open house – so it’ll have to wait until another day.  we’ve been making our home look all festive and merry.  the kids have been a huge help and i’m so thankful for that.  i put all the lights on the tree yesterday afternoon and we decorated it last night.  it looks bea-U-T-ful!

tyler and jake were just a little excited!
