if you received my newsletter this week (you can subscribe to kp photography newsletter here if you would like to receive it or just click the sidebar to the left – the ones that reads newsletter and fill out the form) you know that i have a few personal challenges for 2011. one of them is to keep a diary of my life for 2011. thanks to tracy clark – a photographer and writer whose blog i also visit on occasion – i found a website called log your memory. as i browsed their site i discovered these memory logbooks with weekly challenges in them and i decided – why not!
the first week’s challenge was to make a list. it could be a list of anything. my list ended up being a list of things i would like to accomplish this year – both personally and professionally. the list is still a work in progress – and probably always will be – but it sure felt great writing all my goals down!
this week’s challenge is to choose a single word as my focal point for the year.
one.
word.
can you imagine coming up with just one word for a whole year?
well, after much thought i came up with the word less.

i want 2011 to be about less. less clutter. less stress. less junk food. less weight. less procrastination. less worrying about things i have absolutely no control over. be less of a control freak. over-react less. eat less. be less of a couch-potato. work less and play more. less obsessing over little things.
just less.
feels good setting goals.
what are your goals for 2011? i’d love it if you shared!wee
