you may recognize her from this rad grad group session that we shot back in april. sami also booked a private rad grad session as a surprise gift for her parents. she is such an amazing young woman and i just know she’s going to go places in this world!
i love how we were able to capture sami not only through photographs during this exciting chapter of her life but that we were also able to incorporate some video into her session as well. this session and slideshow are definitely going down as one of my favorites!
i also love how she offered my 14 year old daughter advice on starting high school the day she came to pick up her print order.
have fun with your travels sami! i hope you get to see to whole world!
i have know the henry family for several years. they have become very close family friends and our long-weekend camping excursions just just wouldn’t be the same with out them! i have photographed the kids several times throughout the years at various places and events but i was thrilled when they asked me if we could schedule a family session, especially since they’ve never had a family session done before.
i know they will treasure these portraits for years to come! enjoy!

last week i met up with miss p and her mom for her yearly portrait session. this year they chose the beautiful twenty two oaks winery in north cowichan as the location for her portrait session. miss p is one of my long-time legacy clients. i’ve been photographing her since she was a baby but unfortunately i wasn’t blogging back then. i look forward to photographing her every year and i’m always amazed at how much she has grown each time we meet.

so down-to-earth. so easy-going. and so in love! that’s the best way to describe caroline & bryce! i had such a great time photographing their wedding and i know they have been waiting patiently to see all the photographs. i wish i could show them their slideshow on the big screen like i do with all of my other wedding clients but it’s rather difficult since they are at home in new zealand.
to caroline & bryce: thank you for choosing me as your wedding photographer! it was delightful to meet and work with you both! i wish you eternal happiness and love! enjoy your slideshow!
a special thank you to larry from classic car tours! he was super helpful, always smiling and a pleasure to work with. (did you catch his small cameo appearance in the slideshow?)
