meet daryl. we’ve know each other for many many years. he’s like the brother that i’ve never had. and i’m so happy to tell you all that he’s fiiiinnnally getting married! that’s jacque on the right – his beautiful fiance. we went out earlier this week and shot their engagement portraits. we were all over the place, shooting in different location. we started off at hatley castle, located at royal roads military college and eventually made our way to downtown victoria.

i am really looking forward to shooting their wedding in july. it’s going to be such a blast!

they are getting married on july 31st – check out what their street address is. it’s total karma!

i bet playoff season is LOTS of fun at their house!

jaclyn and i have been emailing each other back and forth for months now and it was so great to finally get to meet her and brad on tuesday. i had sent them my getting to know you questionnaire and i felt like i already knew them so well. we trounced around victoria for a few hours, dodging the rain for most of the morning. we finished our session around noon and that was when the skies opened up and the rain came down in buckets! i am not kidding! talk about great timing.

their wedding is at st. ann’s academy in august – it’s such a beautiful venue. i haven’t photographed a wedding there yet so i am really looking forward to it! until then, enjoy a few more images from their engagement session.

jaclyn and brad are planning a destination wedding this summer – right here in victoria! they’ve hired me to be their photographer and i’m so excited! they are from a small town near calgary and decided to get married here after they fell in love with our wonderful city.

last evening, i photographed an engagement session with an absolutely beautiful couple, andrea and dan. they are so in love and so photogenic! just look at how adorable they are!

they met while andrea was doing a work/study program for restaurant management in england. she was a student. he was the chef. it was love at first site for dan and eventually, he won over andrea’s heart and they fell in love.

it was on a flight to greece, with a bit of help from the flight crew and pilot, that dan proposed. about one hour into the flight, they were engaged. the entire airplane cheered for their happiness. they will be married this september. i am looking so forward to photographing their special day!
